The Staff Builders Inc. Franchise has reported that it has signed a franchise agreement with P.T. Kuperin, a privately-owned professional service company based in Jakarta, Indonesia, granting master franchise licensing rights to develop home health care throughout Indonesia using the Staff Builders name and franchise model. Under the terms of the agreement, Staff Builders will provide training for employees of the master franchise licensee on an initial and periodic basis and will also provide the licensee with all home health care procedures, systems, software and other items currently available or developed by Staff Builders. Staff Builders has received a $60,000 installment of an initial licensing fee of US$200,000. Annual royalties will represent 4% of gross revenues in Indonesia. Indonesia, which is the fifth most populous country in the world, is faced with average hospital stays that are several times longer than those of other countries, with the same cost challenges which plague the health care systems.
